Nice room, but the cooling system didn't seem to be connected to the thermostat. It was freeze with it on or roast. The Internet connection couldn't sustain Netflix. The once beautiful pool and hot tub area needed a thorough cleaning.
Front desk particularly staff in the evening was only adequate. Made me wait too long at check in for people who came in after me. Not cool.
Hot ready made oatmeal.
I spent 5 nights here in June 2017. I was exploring Connecticut, and it's centrally located for coastal trips. The hotel has been updated and is clean, bright, and spacious. The suites are the size of a studio apt. There's a cute bar with snacks and a breakfast buffet that is decent but typical. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The rating is less than stellar as I was not very impressed with the housekeeping. For example, my shower wasn't cleaned daily, and they didn't leave new coffee and glasses daily. Also, if noise bothers you, be sure to ask for a room in the back as the hotel is right off very busy I-95.
Great spot, glad I stayed here. Clean spacious room. Had enough room for a crib and was quiet enough not to wake baby. Pretty decent breakfast too
And later they turned my cousins away telling them I was not there. I came to town for their brother's funeral. Horrible. It isn't like my cousins didn't know my name or room number. Sorry, can't give a good rating.
Great hotel. Lives up to the Marriott name. Gym had one elliptical two treadmills and free weights. Indoor pool and whirlpool. Room was extremely fashionable and modern looking. Great friendly staff. Breakfast of scrambled eggs, waffle maker cereal fresh spinach, cheese and salsa. Many kinds of bread and a toaster.
Housekeeping service was excellent. No chemicals used and yet quite clean as requested. Thanks much.
