Overall, loved the hotel and the staff! BUT, one of the rooms I had obviously had a smoker in it before us (non-smoking hotel). The other room we had was excellent though! The other improvement that can EASILY be made is to have more plugs available at the bedside stand... I had to unplug the lights to plug in my iPhone!
The second time we were awakened was with a knock on the door by the night clerk checking to see if we were legitimate guests. When all was said and done we got a 10% discount on the room.
The room was a little smoky smelling, but being as we weren't spending much time there we didn't bother switching rooms. I did mention it to front desk to make sure it was noted and we would not get blamed. Check in was fast, room was clean, a few things in the room looked a bit old and worn, towels were very scratchy. It was fine for our purposes, a one night stay after a concert, but you get what you pay for. The hotel may have had some more permanent residents on site which always changes the vibe of the place for temporary visitors.
Great place, friendly staff, and clean. Have now stayed there twice, both times at the last minute. Staff was great at getting us a room. Absolutely would stay there again.
Pleasantly surprised by Motel6 in Milford. Fridge and microwave in the room, good (but rather short) beds, complementary tea and coffee. Lots of parking space. Only the location is sub-optimal between highway 95 and the railroad, but it did not disturb US.
It was a great room for the price. A little worn around the edges but still holds up. Our one problem and it was not a small one, is that we were awakened twice at around 2am. Once by a young couple who were trying to get into the room. The door was tricky so they did not get in before I was able to go to the door and find out what was going on.
