The rooms and the bathrooms are so incredible. The beds are nice and soft to my liking. Nice hot water. The people who work here are very nice as well.

The only redeeming factor is that the lobby is lovely. The rooms are old, with torn shower curtains, and the ceiling of the shower is starting to peel off. The beds are pretty stiff, but worst of all... They use those God awful pillows that are 99% air, so that when you lay your head on them it just goes flat down to the mattress, if you're a side sleeper or value a pillow more form than an empty pillow case then give this hotel a pass.

The room and staff were great. The breakfast seemed to be a bit of a mess. Every time I go it's an entirely new staff. While the presentation is getting better there is still room for improvement. I would stay there again.

Staff are not the friendliest. You will be put on hold constantly. The room itself was mediocre at best and considering this hotel has higher prices in this area I’m surprised. The bathroom needed re-caulking, you could see it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly likely because of this. Everything did feel dated. I stayed here about five years ago and it seemed much nicer at the time which is why I was willing to pay more to come back but now it’s definitely not worth the higher price.

If you absolutely need to stay in Milford the Holiday Inn Express is cleaner and cheaper with friendlier staff (right across the street) and breakfast is included. The Hyatt is also a better option. If you can be a bit farther from Milford the Hilton in Shelton is nicer with better pricing (usually), slightly friendlier staff and the bathrooms are recently updated. Hampton Inn in West Haven right off of 95 is also a better option.

I reserved a room for my fiance and I for the night. When we got to the Hotel, the friendly lady at the front desk, Ollie, couldn't find our reservation. Come to find out, I had made my reservation for the next night. I freaked out, but Ollie was gracious and was able to find a room for us and changed our reservation without any problems. When we got to our room, which was a king size suite, it was clean and very nice. We left our things and went to dinner. The parking was well lit and very presentable. We took a look at the indoor pool, just to check it out, and it was clean and well stocked with towels. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and very helpful. For a last minute decision, it turned out to be a great one. We will definitely be staying there again.

There's also a Keurig in some rooms if that does anything for you.
