Rather crowded place, though not as loud as you might think. About average priced for an all-you-can-eat buffet. Food could've been seasoned better as food was either bland or overly salty. Not good. Wait staff was nice when they actually paid attention to us, but the lack of paying attention to us was understandable as it was a little busy. Set in a somewhat decent location, that can easily be seen from the main road. I might come back here again, but first they need a better chef who knows what decent seasoning is. Maybe someone who actually went to a culinary arts school?
The food was more like 3.5 than 3. The server was friendly and polite, if not very efficient. I was gong to round up and give them 4 stars, but then I discovered that I don't have the right amount of change too give the tip. I asked the cashier, and she told me they don't chant money and I need to ask the server. Right, the very person I am trying to tip. No. I guess they still have not figured how to run this thing. Give them a good more years. Oh, and I hope the servers have words with the cashier, too.
We (party of 2) got there a bit after 3. This golden corral seats you and the server gets your drinks after being seated. Well, that's what they said. We were seated but we never had a server. Larry had to get our drinks from their station. No one retrieved our used plates or topped off our drinks.
I will say the meat area is FANTASTIC, and the gentleman that cooks steaks is VERY good at his job.
Food basically tasty. Carving meat stations are very slow. Experienced plates were NOT clean (nasty) and these dishes were sitting on top of clean dishes. Workers need to step-up their game. But waiters were very customer friendly and polite. It's a good place if family want something different.
Another thing is the servers we did see kept scowling at me every time they did look our way, no matter where I was. Made me wonder if it was my southern accent..? We are from East TN, visiting their fair city. Not somewhere I'm going back to.
Was extremely crowded. The staff was more friendly than the management. We went here with a party of 8 and they had no idea what they were doing to set up tables to accommodate... And the party of 40 that came in after us... Took over half of the restaurant. The food was mediocre. The dessert selection was rather good. Went in with two coupons for a free buffet for my twins birthdays and the price per person was still unbelievable. On top of an all you can eat charging so much for drinks when drinks should be included in an all you can eat buffet. Oh and they charged us dinner prices when we got there at 3pm on a Sunday.
