Great place for baby gear. However the front end staffing, and organization seriously needs work.
Big nice store. Convenient parking. Rude staff. I bought a gift card for a friend and they never activated the card. Was an embarrassment when I got the call that card is not working. Had to go and ask the cashiers. They were rude to respond and certainly no apologies. No wonder the company is filing for bankruptcy.spent 25 minutes and no one knows why the gift card is not working even though they can see the card was loaded.
Baby's R Us in Milford is the largest store in the area and has pretty much everything you might need. It's much bigger than the Norwalk store, and had a bigger selection than many of the competitors in the area. Service associates are helpful and knowledgeable. Would give it more stars if it was less expensive though. They are very stingy on sales events, even on Black Friday, so don't expect major discounts. You're going to pay $$$$. I rarely walk out of this place having spent less than $200.
This is a nice Babies R Us, but they NEVER seem to have enough of the formula we need in stock. We tried to go her multiple times, even calling ahead to check on the inventory in stock, and they often are out or only have 1 or 2 cases. We have been forced to take a trip to the Yonkers store every 6-8 weeks instead where they have an incredible amount of inventory.
Me and my fiance did our registry through Babies R Us and used this location to scan what we wanted added to the list. They had a great majority of the stuff we wanted already in-store, all the extra items we couldn't find were easily compiled on an Amazon wishlist. Between the two you can get everything you possibly need for your little guy/girl, so give them a visit if you're expecting and you won't be disappointed. Took awhile to get an associate to help us set up the registry but that wasn't an issue, overall very pleased with our experience here!
